Didnt like there egg rolls first time having beef egg rolls. Wasnt a fan
This is the upscale version of the venerable Oriental Wok on Bolton Avenue. Same great food in a lovely, modern setting. The tiny spicy chicken is my favorite! The new restaurant is very pretty - congratulations to the owners for their success!
Good food. Nice ppace
Food food with nice ambiance.
Can’t remember the number of order, can’t remember phone number, and apparently they can change your order. Ordered L10 beef and broccoli and got chicken and broccoli... when my friend went to pick up the order they said no #3, but it’s clearly written on bag, she didn’t get it til she said it was already paid for.
Love this place. Great food. Fried rice is the Best!
Did take out. Large servings. Good flavor. Not gourmet but we enjoy the food. Fast service.
Get the tiny spicy chicken. It is enough to feed two!
Great food and service!
I go here at least once a week, I would say out of 100 times, 99 were great!
As good as Chinese food gets
Long wait on food. But not typical for here.
Visited 31 DECGreat waitress we had, an delicious food. Only downfall is the prices were higher then what I felt they should be. Otherwise they had great food to eat.
I love this place. We get take away all the time. Food is always good.
The only reason I'm giving it two stars is the food was good. The service there sucked. I didn't notice the sign that said if you have 6 or more they charge you 18 percent gratuity. It wasn't 6 adults it was me, my wife, and 4 kids. I have no problem tipping and usually give a 20 dollar tip when the service is good. But when you notice your waiter hustling and working hard at the tables with less than 6 and pretty much ignoring your table it aggravates you. The little guy even lied about having soup. The same soup I seen him serve the tables all around us. Even when we complained to the lady at the front she didn't act like she cared.
The food was great. I tried the best thing they have IMO, Tiny Spicy Chicken. It was AMAZING, the best I've ever had. My girlfriend commented that it was the freshest, best fried chicken she had ever had either, so I think they have new equipment or better temperature regulation that makes tiny spicy chicken even better than it was before. The fried won tons were perfectly cooked as well, and someone else said the sushi was very good. Service was excellent, we went late on Sunday for lunch, early afternoon, and it wasn't crowded, and we got right in and had a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend trying this, it's got the best parts of the other location Oriental Wok, but it has many other "pros" going for it. The prices are very reasonable for the dining experience. The mood was great, it's a nice restaurant but casual dress is fine and you'll feel comfortable there with kids as well.
I went in with my family tonight. They told us we had to wear a mask. I didn’t understand because we were going straight to our table and the people at the tables did not have a mask on or they were around their necks. Before the owner came over they were getting our menus ready and getting ready to walk us to the table. We were then stopped and told we had to wear a mask. When I told them I couldn’t we were told to wait outside. I didn’t understand because before they had a table for us but all of a sudden because we did not have mask on we had a wait of 15-20 minutes. She was actually about to seat us before the owner had come over. So we went from having no wait and an immediate table, to having a 15-20 minute wait outside with four children. We will definitely not be returning. I understand being respectful of the owners choice but this is wrong.
Delicious vegetarian options, elegant atmosphere, & the service is impeccable.
Really clean. Great price. Great food.
My hubby and I chose this place for our weekly date and we will definitely be back! The BEST sushi and wontons I've ever had! The food is amazing, fresh and filling! The staff are so friendly and welcoming! It's a beautiful atmosphere, even the bathrooms are gorgeous! Definitely will be back!
The food is delicious the cream cheese crab puffs are crispy and flavorful. We also ordered the sushi. The dynamite roll and zomi roll both delicious love the mango great friendly restraint great for family lunch.
It's good just ready to be able to sit inside and eat again
Good food friendly helpful staff
While the food is pretty good the customer service practices are not!!! They do not accurately display pricing and will not honor current prices that are on their menus. While I understand pricing may change it is the establishments responsibility to keep the consumer informed of any price increases OR informs and honor the prices posted. Be aware and ask if prices are accurate when ordering and using posted online menus!!
Amazing experience! EVERYTHING was excellent! Clean and multiple options for choose from. You will not be dissappointed!
We found this place on Google maps while passing through Alexandria. So happy we tried them. The food was delicious! Excellent quality food, good portions, good prices, great service, and very clean. We will definitely come back the next time we are passing through.
I heard this restaurant is owned is owned by the owners of the Oriental Wok-a long-time local favorite here in Alexandria. This was my first time eating at this new location. I was happy with my visit. The sushi was satisfactory. The environment was nice; it was a bit louder in the restaurant in comparison to the Oriental Wok location
Very good food...large portions
Food was good but not our server
If you love Chinese food appsolutely love this place so much stuff to choose from inexpensive and very very delicious
Good food. Good service.
Not impressed. Oriental Wok is much, much better. I understand that it is the same owners, but it has different cooks.
Great food, reasonable price, huge portions.
This place was fantastic. Ate here while passing through Alexandria, no regrets
First visit. We were very impressed with everything. Food was well presented and yummy. Service was fantastic, Ms. Wasana. Looking forward to next visit.
Try the Tiny Spicy Chicken...but share it with a friend!
Awesome, Great Service
Food was excellent - tiny spicy chicken and chef special sushi roll. Waitress was very pleasant an attentive. Enjoyed our meal very much.
Gret decor. Good food.
Had a maggot in my tiny spicy chicken combination plate. They wanted to argue it was a sliver of fish, but I have picture evidence before they took it way. I had it verified by an entomologist and it is indeed a maggot.
Nice, clean and excellent service.
The food and service is always great every time we go. The price is not bad either.
It's alright. The atmosphere is better than the food. I got a crunch roll and salmon nigiri. Had to drown it in wasabi and soy sauce. Very bland.
Another great meal served at this establishment. One ot my favorite dinning experience in Alexandria.
First time was top notch but last night it was a little more than buffet quality .
I love this place. If you want these best Asian food you can get in Alexandria then this is the place. Beef & Broccoli is amazing as well as the sushi. I promise you wont go wrong stopping by.
Very nice place inside we were excited but then it came time to order and the prices were very high. One thing of sesame chicken was $11.45 compared to a buffet being $10.45 and for those who like the combo of Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Fried rice; you are not able to get both Sesame and Sweet and Sour chicken. You can not substitute anything over there also if you decide to get the Sesame Chicken make sure you say Fried or grilled because they didn’t ask me and I didn’t know there were two different kinds I wanted the friend she brought the grilled. Won’t be back
We enjoyed our visit. Overall experience was good. We have tried many sushi places and the sushi was good... Amanda was our server and was fantastic.
Good food, nice interior, good service. I'd give five stars, except for one thing (which is far from unique to here): Why do they seat guests elbow-to-elbow, in crowded little groups of tables, instead of spreading them out for a little more privacy when the restaurant isn't full? Is server convenience more important than customer experience? Maybe so.
My server Mimi was awesome. Food was great. And the lunch specials are a great value . Love it
I got the beef and pepper dish. Loved it.
